5 Last Minute Stocking Stuffers

Nothing better than an 11th hour gift guide, right?

For those of you who are finished shopping, but still looking for a few things to add to a stocking, I’ve made a short list of my go-to stocking stuffers. Candy isn’t on here since it’s basically a given, but if you’re looking for something a little more fun than the run-of-the-mill candy, check out places like Lolli & Pops for candies from around the world, nostalgic treats, and your favorite candies all the way from the Wizarding World.

*Most of these are able to be purchased in store, or will ship in time for Christmas if ordered quickly!

  1. Something Hobby-Related

If you’re shopping for a crocheter or knitter, we’d never say no to a new hook or a fresh set of needles. For people who love journaling, like my mom, a new pack of pens, markers, or even planner stickers make a great stocking stuffer! And for the handy people in your life a little multi-purpose tool goes a long way. I got my dad a flashlight with screwdriver extensions (linked in the image caption above) about three years ago, and every time he uses it, he reminds me that it was one of the best stocking stuffers he’s ever received!

On the note of multi-purpose tools, a Swiss Army Knife is perfect for basically anyone. For the chef or the amateur cook, useful little kitchen gadgets make great stocking stuffers. As bizarre as it sounds, I did an avocado themed stocking for my dad two years ago, complete with this 3-in-1 slicer, which he uses religiously for the many, many avocados that we consume.

  2. Skincare/Beauty Minis

If there’s a beauty or skincare product that they love, you can’t go wrong with a stocking-stuffer-sized bottle of it! And if you aren’t sure, try cult classic like Mario Badescu’s Facial Spray Trio , some refreshing face wipes, mini body butters or lotions. Throw in an eye mask or two (linked in the image caption above).

  3. Socks

    I. LOVE. SOCKS. Fuzzy socks, dress socks, patterned socks, they’re all great. You can find really cute socks at Target (men’s | women’s), or shop my favorites from J. Crew (men’s | women’s)!

  4. Gift Cards

I’m the kind of person who is always very happy with a gift card, and I absolutely don’t find them to be impersonal! Gift cards to your recipient’s favorite places (or place) are sure to please. Whether it’s for their favorite local or chain coffee store, retailer, or even just a general Visa they’re the perfect addition to anyone’s stocking.

  5. Tech Accessories

For those of us who rely on technology for basically everything (I don’t know where I’d be without Alexa waking me up every morning), having more functional, or just personalizing accessories makes our lives just that much easier. For someone with an Apple Watch, you can’t go wrong with a new band (my mom treated me to these cute ones from kate spade: Leopard Print | Glitter), or a protective case. And while this is more in the gift price range, fitness trackers fit perfectly in a stocking!

If their life is basically on their phone, a new phone case (affiliate link), lenses, screen wipes, earbuds (I can’t condone AirPods as I’m absolutely the type that will lose one and never find it again), screen protector, or tripod. And I swear by this phone clip ring light for low-light situations (works on either side of the camera), plus it’s a great way to ensure the cutest Christmas morning pictures!

Finally, for the photographer who constantly loses their lens cap (me), lens cap holders are truly wonderful creations.
