  • MOPQ sweatshirt: one of the only sweatshirts I wear with sweats in the house and with regular clothes outside of the house. I managed to snag the pictured colorway from their April drop, but have been living in the linked colorway for months. super comfy and simple.

  • Revlon paddle blow dryer: I was super skeptical of this at first, thinking it wouldn’t work well with my hair texture. When I saw other BLck girls using it on social media - with GOOD results - I had to try. And at $33 (at the time of purchase), less than the cost of a trip to the salon, I figured it was worth the shot. This thing has cut my blow drying, detangling, and flat ironing time in HALF. It makes it so much easier to section my hair before I straighten it, and dries it thoroughly in way less time than it would usually take! Overall, 10/10 recommend.

  • - Aerie crossover bike shorts and leggings. these went viral on tiktok, and while I have actually *never* seen those viral tiktoks, I understand why they would be so popular. they’re flattering, really comfortable, and stay put! been wearing them to lounge in, but also for peloton rides, pilates, and walks. They run pretty TTS, in my opinion.

  • Smiley face slippers: 2020 was the year of slippers, for me. while I love the multiple criss-cross pairs I got over the spring and summer last year, these closed toe smiley face ones are a current favorite. Just be sure to check the sizing chart!

  • Pill organizer: While I take care/of vitamins (most days, when I remember), there are other daily supplements I need to take. I hate a cluttered medicine cabinet, so I’ve been organizing my dailies in this pill organizer, and keeping the bottles elsewhere and out of sight.

  • Honey grail: this has been a staple of mine for over a year, and now that I’m really back on my skincare routine game, it’s been a lovely, luxurious complement to my nighttime routine. I use about half a dropperful before bed, and wake up with hydrated, glowy skin. If my face is looking a little extra tired in the morning, I’ll do the same!

  • Aerie high waisted shorts: I’m honestly more of a “leggings and sweatpants” person around the house, and very rarely wear shorts. In fact, this is one of tow pairs of sweat shorts I’ve owned, and I’ve purchased both of them this year. they’re SUPER comfortable, have POCKETS, and are flattering enough to wear outside of the house. They have a matching sweatshirt, which I also ordered, but to be totally honest, I don’t love how they look together. I prefer wearing the sweatshirt with bike shorts (it’s really oversized and boxy). Shorts run a little big. I sized up for a baggier fit, but could’ve stayed TTS. I would size down in the sweatshirt though!
