new mini series! just a little roundup of things i’ve been drawn to, doing, loving, watching, etc. over this past week!

there was no october monthly roundup last week. it’s sitting in my drafts, but honestly october was a busy month with travel, painful with the loss of my childhood dog, and it just isn’t really something I want to reflect on going forward.

so, anyway, the weekly. it won’t be weekly, but whenever the mood strikes.

as a quick aside - some of the products I share here are featured throughout my 2021 gift guides. if you’re looking for some gift inspiration for this season, check it out!

the temps truly dropped in PA this week, so i’ve been living in all things cozy + accessorizing as such. I love my beige sherpa chucks from last winter (similar), so I was so happy to add the sherpa lined ones (converse | nordstrom) and the white sherpa ones (converse | nordstrom) to my wardrobe this season.

and this mini kuei in chocolate shearling from brandon blackwood? chef’s kiss. I put the pink one on my christmas list too, it’s so good!

and speaking of all things cozy, my favorite stoney clover collection returns on 11/10 at 10am EST. be sure to check it out!

this month is super special for Don and me, since it marks ONE YEAR until our wedding. we sent out our save the dates a few days ago, and it’s been so amazing to get the excited “i got it!” texts and calls from friends and family. I wasn’t sure if anyone would let us know that they got it (since it’s just the save the date, no RSVP is required), but I’m so grateful to those who did. a) I know they arrived safely in this chaotic postal mess, but b) it’s just been so cool to hear everyone’s excitement. after the past two years we’ve had, i know we’re all looking forward to being together again to celebrate!

PS: I wrote a post about save the date/invitation timelines this week!

a fresh manicure.

there’s something about a new mani that makes me feel better instantly. also helps when you have a great nail tech! I swapped out my spooky manicure for something clean + representative of my favorite fall prints and textures - an olive and brown plaid accent, plus a cable knit sweater accent. kept it clean with white nails for the rest.

similar croissant ring:

caitlynminimalist ($35) - one of the necklaces I wear daily is from her shop, i’ve worn it just about every day for 6 years (to the gym, in the shower, all the time) - and it’s still in great shape. highly recommend.

jacket | tote (this color is sold out at the time of posting) | sweater (FP sizing) | turtleneck

back on the topic of all things cozy, this cute cropped fleece jacket from free people is a current favorite for sure. it has a boxy fit and runs a bit more TTS than normal FP sizing. but it’s warm, comfy, and comes in a ton of prints and colors.

also a current FP favorite? this sweater. wore it over my favorite layering turteleeck.

tis. the. SEASON!

holiday drinks have returned.

right now, my top two are:

  • white mocha hot chocolate from dunkin (I don’t even like white chocolate and this was GOOD)

  • iced sugar cookie almondmilk latte from starbucks (I normally get oatmilk, and I don’t like blonde roast, but actually prefer this one exactly how it comes - blonde roast with almondmilk)
