february 2021 favorites
so, march. we’re already back in march.
february was my first month of graduate school, first full month of being engaged, when I got my second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, and the month in which I exercised maybe one time, and don’t regret the break.
anyway, as we head into the official one-year mark of our “NeW NoRmAl” 🥴, here’s what I was loving over the past month.
next month’s are going to be extra special - not just march 2021 favorites, but literally the “what got me through quarantine” favorites. the short answer? animal crossing.

book | shower gel (american cream | sleepy) | sweatshirt | candle | playlist | the knot | yogurt
urban jungle: this was a christmas gift from Don. as I exponentially grew my plant collection throughout lockdown, I became more and more interested in learning about my little green (and pink, looking at you, miss aglaonema watermelon) friends. the book has great tips, both for care, and styling!
lush shower gels: I normally just stick to a nice, fragrance-free body wash, but I was in the mood to try something new, and settled on ‘american cream’ and ‘sleepy’ from lush. genuinely love them both, and will be going back for more. i’ve also been using a shower pouf more for extra foamy suds, and honestly, highly recommend.
mayfair group self care sweatshirt: this was my first mayfair group purchase and I get the hype now. comfy, cute, and the reminder I need.
otherland candle: this came as part of an engagement gift from my god-sister (thank youuuuu), and is now 10000% being added to my candle rotation. (it’s the mountain lace scent, by the way)!
lo-fi sleep playlist: i’ve been studying with either a lo-fi or classical playlist since college, but have turned more towards just lo-fi over the years. I recently made a lo-fi sleep playlist, and it’s really relaxing (for me, anyway)! if I don’t use it to fall asleep, I like to put it on while I read, or just have some quiet time before bed.
the knot: my wedding planning hero. seriously, I love this site and app! it makes everything so much easier - watching your budget, finding and contacting vendors, and even scoping out invitation suites! we found our venue through their site, and I’m so grateful! as of now, we’ve decided to not use a wedding planner, so this site is quite literally keeping me organized and so on top of things! ps: look for a post with tips for choosing your venue coming up next wednesday!
culina yogurt: vegan, cultured probiotic yogurt. SO good! I never have been a huge yogurt person, but this yogurt, y’all, THIS. YOGURT? I love. plus, the company is woman-owned!! my favorite flavor is bourbon vanilla, and I love using the plain yogurt in smoothies. they also recently came out with drinkable kefir yogurt. big fan so far of the salted caramel espresso flavor! you can find them in your local whole foods.
