My Cozy 2019 Nordstrom Sale Picks
Today’s the day! With today starting the opening of the sale to cardmembers, I made a beeline straight for my local Nordstrom right before lunch.
I’d picked out 3 things I wanted ahead of time, and told myself I’d only get those 3 things (and I actually stuck to it, wow).
As a lover of all things cozy, and thinking forward to my favorite cozy season, all I had in mind were pieces I could use for fall! Though I only purchased numbers 1, 3, and 4, I’ll probably be back for the rest later (cue Elmo shrug gif).
*hey wait! before you keep going, I want you to know that this post contains affiliate links, meaning if you make a purchase, I make a small commission.
1. Madewell Remi Mule.
I got this in the print shown here, and found that it runs true to size, but may be a bit snug. Reviews for the sizing were mixed online, but I got my normal size, and they fit great - but going up half a size would probably fit just as well, honestly.
2. Anthropologie Iridescent Volcano Candle (Jumbo).
As a former Anthro employee, the smell of Capri Blue’s Volcano is basically engrained into my very being. I also burn it regularly around my house and have it as a room spray, so any chance to snag it for a lower price? Count me in. The candles also make great gifts, so if you’re feeling generous and want to treat someone to a big version of this scent, scoop it up while it’s on sale!
3. BP Lace Trim Satin Camisole.
I had this one in a lilac color already, and planned on stocking up on a few more! My Nordstrom was sold out of my size in the colors I wanted with the exception of the polka dot print shown (I’m usually a medium, and they fit true to size, a little loose-fitting, though). I’ll be back for the white/cream color, black, and maybe the leopard print! It pairs well with virtually everything, and is a perfect wardrobe staple.
4. Barefoot Dreams CozyChic Lite Island Cardigan.
Obviously, I love all things cozy. Barefoot Dreams makes the softest, coziest sweaters ever, and when I saw this one on sale, it had to come home with me. There are a few variations available, and the sizing changes between them (some are S/M, while another would be a full XS-XL size run, for example). I tried on the S/M and the L/XL, and the S/M fit better, but since I have broad shoulders, it was a little snug up top when I tried it on over my thermal. It fit well with a thin t-shirt or the lace cami, so I’ll most likely wear this for those late summer/early fall day.
5. BP Everyday V-Neck Sweater.
My mom actually almost got this one, but changed her mind. I, on the other hand, will be back for it. It’s amazingly soft and cozy, and would be perfect with jeans, or styled over a maxi skirt/dress.
6. Nordstrom At Home Kennebunk Bliss Plush Throw.
You can never have too many throws, right? The reviews for this one alone are enough to convince me to scoop it up before the weather changes, and add it to my seasonal blanket rotation.
7. BP Cozy Top (and the matching shorts or pants).
Mom and I actually both almost bought these, but there were none left in either of our sizes! But the fabric itself is again, super soft, and felt lightweight enough to be worn on warmer nights, or when the heat is on during a cool fall night.
8. Spanx Faux Leather Leggings.
I’ve been in the market for a good pair of faux leather leggings lately, but I’ve been a little skeptical due to how sheer or stiff they can be. After feeling these in person, I can definitely say they aren’t stiff, and feel comfy for sure, but I didn’t get to do a try on, so I’m not sure about sheerness! I’ll definitely be back to try them out though!
#nsale is open to cardmembers today- July 18, and opens officially to everyone on July 19!
Happy shopping!
