blogmas 2020: my favorite gifts this year
the gifts are all unwrapped and now I can freely share what I actually got for my loved ones! sharing 2 favorites for each of the 3 main people I gifted for, a few stocking stuffers, and 2 of my favorite gifts!

FOR MY MOM:
photo book from Shutterfly (with prints of each photo)
I rounded up a few pictures of just the two of us and put them into a book from Shutterfly! the whole process was done in less than 20 minutes, it shipped super quick, and made for the most memorable gift. I also opted to get a 4x6 print of each photo in the book so that she had physical copies that she may not have had already.
the daily edited folio phone case
mom loves folio cases, but hadn’t found one that she loved enough to get. since I’ve gotten 3 the daily edited phone cases for myself this year and LOVED them, so I got her a customized folio case!
FOR MY DAD:
my dad has been a BMW stan for as long as I can remember, and since he got himself a new one this year, I took major advantage of the kith x BMW drop in October. I wasn’t able to get him everything that mom and I planned to get (we weren’t physically together so there was a delay with communication lol), but he LOVED what he got!
iced tea infuser
he LOVES iced tea, so in an effort to cut the trips to starbucks, save money on snapple, and consume less sugar, I thought this iced tea infuser tumbler would be perfect! he’s already used it and loves it.
FOR MY BOYFRIEND:
airpod Pros
now that he’s primarily working from home, I wanted to get him a little earphone upgrade!

he got me one earlier this year and when I say I use it daily…I mean the heck out of it. I use that ish for EVERYTHING. so once he hint dropped that he wanted the blue version of it, I was all over it. the pans were one a major sale last month (or the month before? time has no meaning anymore ??). seriously, can’t sing this pan’s praises enough!

a new laptop!
once my laptop starting making a hissing sound a few months ago, I knew it was time for an upgrade. add “I got in to grad school” to the mix and it was really time for an upgrade. my parents very sweetly hooked me up with a new macbook! I went ahead and ordered some accessories + a treat for myself to go with it:
S.A.D. lamp
winter means my regular depression gets festive and blends with S.A.D aka seasonal affective disorder. the lack of sun (even though I work in person, I’m up before the sun, inside an office all day, and the sun is normally setting when I leave), cold temps, and just overall gray-ness make it pretty miserable for me. i’ve worked really hard over the past year to battle my depression and I’m so proud of where I am now - but I know that this will be such a help for me as we continue to have these darker winter days. as a huge bonus - it’s already bringing life back into some of my plants that have also been suffering from a lack of sunshine!
