My Favorite Things: September 2019
This month’s favorite things are a little different! Instead of my favorite things, it’s sort of your favorite things! I’ve rounded up the top 10 things that have been loved on the most lately between the blog, pinterest, and my LTK page. Sort of a quarterly catch up as we head into the new season!
andMorgan pumpkin tee + Anthropologie Edith cardigan
A very recent add, but clearly I’m not alone in my love for this tee! I’ve been seeing it floating around Pinterest for a year or so, and finally decided to order it! It’s by far one of my favorites for the season, and it’s insanely soft. This one is absolutely a must on your next “add to cart” kind of day.
This cardigan. I saw it in store at the beginning of the month and absolutely fell in love. I decided to order it online (Afterpay, duh), and honestly, I’m still head over heels for it. One thing though, it definitely runs big in my opinion! I’m usually a size S or M, and even though I wanted a more oversized fit on this one, I ordered an XS. It’s perfectly drapey, though I could’ve done the S for a baggier feel.
Madewell bobble cardigan
I was curious about bobble sleeve sweaters during winter this year, but didn’t act on buying one until recently. This bobble sleeve cardigan from Madewell is the perfect mustard/ochre color, and looks cute with basically everything.
Target Halloween pajamas + Mickey Boo To You pillow
If you know me, you know that I am not a Halloween person at all. Fall, yes. Halloween, no. But these adorable Halloween pajamas from Target are so soft and perfect for lazy Sundays! The pajamas come as a set, but I’ve honestly just been wearing the bottoms with my favorite sweaters around the house.
I definitely did not need another piece of Disney decor in my room, but when Don and I were in Disneyland for D23 in August, this Mickey ghost pillow clearly became a need. Plus, it matches last year’s mug!
Holiday Shopping Guide
It seems that I’m not the only one with holiday shopping on the brain. If you missed it in July, it’s technically not too late to catch up on my 6-month plan for stress-free holiday shopping.
Paris posts
Similar to the holiday guide, my Paris blogs from earlier this summer have been popping up more than I expected! If you’re planning a trip, or are just curious about my thoughts on our hotels, Disneyland Paris, or want to read about the touristy things we did in Paris, be sure to check them out!
Rainbow striped sweater
I’m a sucker for sweater weather and striped sweaters, so expect to see a lot of sweaters this season (say sweater one more time, I dare you). There are a lot of similar styles available right now, but as an avid Afterpay user, I ordered this one with my last Red Dress Boutique stock up!
Skincare Routine
Though summer is officially over, and my skincare routine is about to change a little, the products I mention ‘my summer skincare routine’ will still be foundational as the weather starts to get colder up here.
19th grade.
The 19th grade blog post, which was actually the first new post I made after rebuilding my blog, has always been one of the most visited pieces I’ve written. With it being back to school season, I’m not surprised to see it come up in the search a bit more this month. I’m due for an update post or two on that front, though! Though it was written about my experience as a post-bacc student on a healthcare track, I think it has some pretty universal advice for anyone going back to school, or starting a new chapter.
